Current pedagogical efforts to enhance the internationalization of education have culminated in the concept of ‘Global Citizenship’. It emphasizes the critical analysis and reflection of human values and beliefs and promotes intercultural competence, global learning and peace education with the aim of developing a sense of personal and social responsibility. Practical examples of activities which help students to learn about cultural diversity and practice global citizenship will be presented and collectively discussed.
